Joined by 60 qualifiers, the KL-YES National Selection and Orientation Camp was held last September 15-19, 2018 at the New Dawn Hotel Plus, Cagayan de Oro City. Various activities and tests highlighting the participants’ individual and teamwork skills were conducted as part of the final screening process for the KL-YES Program. The participants did not only enjoy the Camp, but they also gained insights about the program and was inspired to further pursue their dream of studying abroad.

The Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) Program, funded by the U.S. Department of State, provides scholarships for secondary school students from countries with signicant Muslim populations to spend one academic year in the United States.
