“It was a huge adjustment coming from the capital of the Philippines to living in a small town in the middle of the forest in Brandenburg. I was out of my comfort zone but I have no regrets. I literally discovered myself while volunteering in the forest. I traveled a lot inside Germany and in Europe. I made plenty of friends that I know will last a lifetime. My experience taught me that home is not a fixed place but a feeling you take with you everywhere you go.”
