What is Global Preparation in New Zealand?

Global Preparation in China is a series of tailored short programs designed to help young participants to become a global citizen, with Intercultural sensitivity, social responsibility and the competence on sustainable development.

There will be various courses and activities that will be associated into the interaction between participants and Chinese peers. Topic can vary from social study, science, history to environment protection. Besides the language learning and cultural experience, more like community service, team building and model U. N. could be involved.

Highlights

In this program participants will get the opportunity to visit active projects working to scale up biodiversity such as:

  • Cape Sanctuary in the Hawkes Bay, Wildbase recovery center, Pukaha Mt Bruce National Wildlife center, and Maori culture.
  • Wellington is also home to Weta Workshop, the special effects producers for the “Lord of the Rings” and ‘The Hobbit” movies.
