On the 15th of September 2017, marked the beginning of the reputable life changing and revitalizing journey of three foreign participants who decided to choose Philippines as their destination. Events such as these would not have been possible if not for the utmost resilience and tenacity of the AFS staff.
The names of the three admirable participants are Dominika Modzelewska, Martin Deussen, and Josefine Jensen.
Dominika Modzelewska is a student currently studying at Eastern Visayas State University. Remarkably, both Martin Deussen and Josefine Jensen signed up as volunteers through the volunteer program and had been accommodated by Team Albay Youth Organization and Balay Sofia.
All three of them are prepared to become immersed in the Filipino culture and be recognized as global citizens.
