4/22/2010 - Iligan and Marawi City AFS Scholarship Programs National Camp 2010
Dear Partners,
We will be having our AFS Scholarship Programs interview and selection process for the Iligan and Marawi area by the end of this month.
We will be conducting the Iligan National Camp at Iligan City National High School, Iligan City on May 01, 2010, Saturday from 8:00 AM to 4:00PM.
Marawi National Camp will be held at Masiricampo Abantas Memorial Islamic Science Academy (MAMISA), Marawi City on April 30, 2010, Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
We will be interviewing high school students and teachers to go on various intercultural exchange programs. Please target as many potential applicants as you can for all AFS Programs (Youth Exchnage and Study (YES) Program, Japan- East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths (JENESYS) Programme, Year Program (YP) and Educators Exchange).
A. YES (Youth Exchange and Study) This ten-month scholarship to the USA is exclusive for Muslim high school students between 15 and 17 years old. No interview fee.
B. JENESYS (Japan East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths) This is a two week scholarship to Japan for high school students between 15 and 17.5 years old. Educators are also welcome to apply. Application fee is Php 500.00.
C. CORE Program One year intercultural exchange to country of choice. This is a partial scholarship open to High school and university students.
